Scope. This policy covers the reconstructed web portal of the Acoustical Society of India. It applies only to pages on this site, including those opened through the query-based record pages.
Data collected by this website. None. The site carries no analytics, tracking, cookies, accounts, payment systems or server-side forms. Browsing the site leaves no data with us.
Contact and application forms. The enquiry and membership forms on this site do not send data anywhere. On submission they open your own email application with your entry pre-filled in the draft; nothing is transmitted or stored until you personally send that email.
Information you send elsewhere. Correspondence you choose to send to the Society's Secretariat by email or telephone is governed by the Society's own administrative practices; this website never receives a copy.
Third-party destinations. Links are provided to the Society's LinkedIn page, archived captures of the former official website, library catalogs, the ISSN portal and symposium records. Those third parties may collect data under their own policies, which are disclosed on their sites.
Terms of Access
Purpose. This portal is maintained to preserve and present verified institutional records of the Acoustical Society of India for researchers, members and the public.
Currency of content. Content is compiled from verified public records, including archived captures of the Society's former website and published symposium documents. Content may change as source records are updated. Where information is not verifiable it is omitted or clearly marked as pending Secretariat confirmation.
Emblem & names. The ASI emblem and the names “Acoustical Society of India”, “ASI” and “JASI” belong to the Society and are used here to identify it. No internal pages, documents or imagery are offered for commercial redistribution.
Provided as is. Pages are offered as-is and as-available. To report a factual correction or a broken record, use the Secretariat contact channels.
